Trainee: Silo Operator -TWK Agri

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Trainee: Silo Operator within the Grain Division in Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Constantly monitor the machine operations to see that the finished products and components are matching with the quality and quantity constraints
• Oiling and greasing the machines and ensuring their proper workability
• Constantly monitor machines for problems and troubleshoot problems
• Follow production instructions of the supervisor to ensure quality
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment and work area
• Completion of operational and production documentation
• Maintaining a safe working area
• Run the Silo at maximum capacity without any harm to machines
• Identify possible areas of improvement
• Identify potential risks and address them in a proactive manner

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Technical & Leadership Skills (Experience in a Leadership role will be advantageous)
• Experience and knowledge of a Silo Control Board
• Technical Problem Solving
• Bilingual – English read, write and speak
• Drivers license
• Flexible to day and night  shifts
• Willing to learn and attend  further training
