Alert Engine Parts is searching for an IBT Clerk to join the branch in Goodwood. The purpose of this position is to ensure that inter-branch transfers of stock are managed and recorded correctly at all times. The successful candidate will need to enjoy working with numbers with a good understanding of excel.

Key Performance Indicators will include, but not limited to;

  1. Responsible for IBT transfers to branches including Stock/Sales/Excesses
  2. Receipt of branch IBT’s
  3. Daily zero stock on hand report
  4. Daily lost sales report
  5. Responsible for Salesman local stock buyouts
  6. Head Office requests (part number supersession/Excess requests)
  7. Filing and administration


  • Matric
  • Experience in a similar environment
  • Organized, accurate, and professional
  • Good with numbers & calculations
  • Technically minded with an interest in the Motor Industry
  • Must be willing to work in a team as well as on your own
  • A quick learner who will be willing to speak up if there is a problem
  • An honest and trustworthy individual
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS, Excel, and Word
  • Clear criminal record
